Our Ingredients

Acetic acid:

Occurs naturally in apples, grapes, oranges, skimmed milk, and a variety of other fruits and plants.


Acacia gum:

Harvested from the stem or trunk of the acacia tree. It is used as a natural thickener.


Acetyl hexapeptide 3:

Aceyl hexapeptide-3 (Argireline) is an anti-aging ingredient derived from natural proteins. It is a peptide, a chain made up of amino acids to assist in inhibiting facial tightening.


Allantoin:

A natural compound occurring in herbs such as comfrey, wheat, and sugar beets. It has a soothing and softening effect on the skin.


Almond glycerides:

This Vegetable Derived, nonionic surfactant is derived from Almond triglycerides, and is used as an emulsifier, acts as an anti-irritant and helps to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier.


Almond oil:

Almond Oil is an excellent emollient and is known for its ability to soften and re-condition the skin. It is rich in proteins, Olein Glyceride Linoleic Acid and Vitamin D, and is extremely nourishing.


Aloe vera Leaf Juice:

Research has shown aloe vera's unique ability to regenerate cellular membranes and the production of fibroblast cells (responsible for collagen production) six to eight times faster than normal cell reproduction.

It's penetrating ability was proven to penetrate the skin almost four times faster than water. This allows other nutrients and botanical actives to penetrate far deeper into the underlying layers of the skin for optimal results.

Aloe Vera contains almost 20 amino acids, calcium, magnesium, enzymes, vitamins, polysaccharides, nitrogen and other components that heal and nourish. It helps increase circulation of blood facilitating easier oxygen exchange between the cells thus providing them nourishment. It contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.


Alpha hydroxy Acids:

Alpha-hydroxy acids are a group of organic compounds. AHAs most commonly used in cosmetic applications are typically derived from natural sources including glycolic acid (from sugar cane), lactic acid (from milk or corn), malic acid (from apples), citric acid (from citrus fruits) and tartaric acid (from grape wine). Glycolic acid having the smallest molecular size is the AHA with greatest bioavailability and penetrates the skin most easily.


Apricot Kernel Oil:

Rich in essential fatty acids like oleic and linoleic acid, apricot kernel oil is high in vitamin A. Since it easily penetrates the skin, it is good oil for prematurely aged, dry or irritated skin. The excellent softening and moisturizing properties is great for face, hands and hair. Vitamins A & C are good for mature dry or sensitive skin. The apricot kernel oil helps skin retain elasticity, clarity, and suppleness.


Argan Oil:

Argan Oil is rich in antioxidants and omega 6 fatty acids, contains twice as much vitamin E as olive oil. It is said to contain saponins, which helps to soften the skin and restore the skin’s water lipid layer, thereby minimizing wrinkles. It can also be used to ease cases of acne and eczema helping the skin to maintain a youthful, glowing appearance.


Ascorbic acid:

The use of Vitamin C in skin care is attributed to its property of aiding collagen formation and its anti-oxidant nature. Collagen formation in the body decreases with the aging process. Ascorbic acid can regulate collagen production by stimulating collagen synthesis in human skin.

Aspen Bark Extract:

For centuries, Native American Indians have used Aspen tree bark for various medicinal purposes, from treating burns to reducing fevers to relieving eczema. The bark is rich in salycin, which is considered to be analgesic, anti-inflammatory, calming, and healing. These salicylates can be easily extracted without harm to the tree, then isolated and applied to cosmetic products as natural preservative systems. It has the added benefit of imparting a silky and smooth feeling to skin.;


Atlas Cedar Wood Oil:

Atlas cedarwood is known for use in problem skin. It's actions are sedative, astringent, and antiseptic. It can be used to treat oily skin, relieve itching, and more serious skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema.


Baking soda:

Also known as sodium bicarbonate, is used as a mild exfoliant, skin brightener and is excellent in absorbing oil in the skin.  


Balsam Fir Bark Essential Oil:

Balsam Fir Bark Essential Oil is used for its effective antiseptic and healing abilities for topical skin conditions of all kinds.


Beta-carotene:

Precursor of Vitamin A occurring naturally in many fruits and vegetables. It possesses both healing and cellular renewal properties. Considered an antioxidant that increases resistance to various environmental influences.


Beta glucans:

Beta Glucans consist of oat extracts and oat proteins. They help protect aging skin from immune dysfunction, and aids in overall health and wound healing. Several studies have shown that the use of a beta glucan can help hydrate the skin, improve firmness , skin color, and elasticity.


Bilberry Extract:

Bilberry contains high concentrations of tannins, substances that act as both an astringent and an anti-inflammatory. This fruit also contains flavonoid compounds called anthocyanidins. Flavonoids possess outstanding antioxidant properties, foraging out dangerous free radicals. Anthocyanidin (a flavonoid) is the primary compound in bilberry fruit, building strong capillaries and improving cellular circulation.


Bitter Orange Fruit Extract:

Lemon extract is used in topical creams and masks that repair acne scarring because it is full of vitamin C, which adds a healthy glow to skin and improves its overall health.


Blueberry Juice:

Packed with antioxidant phytonutrients called anthocyanidins, blueberries neutralize free radical damage to the collagen matrix of cells and tissues. Anthocyanins have been shown to enhance the effects of vitamin C, improve capillary integrity, and stabilize the collagen matrix (the ground substance of all body tissues). They work their protective magic by preventing free-radical damage.


Bromelain:

Bromelain is an enzyme that is extracted from the stems of pineapples. Used topically, bromelain speeds healing and dissolves cross-linked collagen cells, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and any uneven pigmentation. Bromelain also has been shown to reduce inflammation, which is believed to be a factor in the aging of skin.


Calendula:

Contains flavenoids for anti-inflammatory activity, contains carotenoids with antioxidant properties, suitable for eczema, psoriasis, diaper rash, acne and burns, gentle enough for use on baby’s skin, promotes skin healing and cell regeneration, soothes inflamed and irritated skin, provides antibacterial and antifungal benefits, rejuvenates, softens and brightens skin.


Chamomile, Cape Essential Oil:

It is recommended for its anti-inflammatory properties in skin care.


Chamomile, Roman Essential Oil:

Recent and on-going research has identified chamomile's specific anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-allergenic properties, validating its long-held reputation. This attention appears to have increased the popularity of the herb and nowadays Chamomile is included as a drug in the pharmacopoeia of 26 countries.


Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride:

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, a mixture of caprylic and capric acids, possessing excellent oxidation stability. CCT is a desirable emollient with quick skin penetration. Also called Fractionated Coconut Oil.


Carrageenan:

It has been known for centuries that fishermen who handle Irish moss tend to have soft skin. This folklore led scientists to discover that carrageenan (Irish moss) interacts with human carotene to give soft skin. Carrageenan is a natural ingredient that nourishes and promotes healthy skin.


Carrot Seed Oil:

Contains vitamins A, B, B2, and C. Used to stimulate cell growth while removing toxins giving the skin a more toned, smooth and youthful appearance. Useful in treating scars, wounds and to reduce wrinkles.


Citric Acid:

Our Citric Acid is naturally derived from the sugars found in the juices of Limes and Lemons. Citric Acid is an excellent anti-oxidant, exfoliant, and can be used as part of a preservative system by altering PH levels.


Clary Sage:

The therapeutic property of Clary sage essential oil in skincare include that of being an astringent, as well as antiseptic and anti-bacterial. It also balances the production of sebum, and eliminates over-dry or over-oily skin.


Coconut Oil:

Coconut Oil is excellent as a skin moisturizer and softener. It is also the preferred oil for high quality cold processed soaps.


Co-enzyme Q10:

CoEnzymeQ10: The most efficient manner in which to protect the skin from lipid peroxidation.


Cucumber:

Cucumber is an excellent source of silica, which is a trace mineral that contributes to the strength of our connective tissue. Cucumbers are effective when used for various skin problems, including swelling under the eyes and sunburn. They also contain ascorbic and caffeic acids. These acids prevent water retention.


Decyl Glucoside:

Decyl glucoside is derived from corn sugar and coconut oil. It is a nonionic natural surfactant made from a reaction between a natural plant oil and a natural plant sugar. This blend of two all natural surfactants creates an exceptionally mild, effective natural surfactant blend.


DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol):

DMAE is an acronym for dimethylaminoethanol, a naturally-occurring chemical that has been proven to lessen the decline in the degradation of cell membranes, thought to be one of the main causes of aging. Touted for its ability to lift and firm sagging skin.


Elderflower:

Elder flowers are a gentle stimulant and very high in astringent making them useful for skin firming and toning applications.  


Echinacea:

Topically, echinacea has been used to encourage healing of wounds, burns and ulcerations. It promotes the healing of stubborn eczema, psoriasis, and herpes simplex.


Essential Oils:

Essential oils contain the true essence of the plant it was derived from. Essential oils are highly concentrated and a little goes a long way. An essential oil is a liquid that is generally distilled (most frequently by steam or water) from the leaves, stems, flowers, bark, roots, or other elements of a plant. Essential oils, contrary to the use of the word "oil" are not really oily-feeling at all.


Ethylhexylglycerin:

Ethylhexylglycerin serves as a surfactant and safe preservative enhancer in minute amounts. It is a synthetic compound derived from grains and plants.


Evening Primrose Oil:

Contains a high concentration of a fatty acid called GLA and it is this fatty acid that is largely responsible for the remarkable healing properties of the plant. In fact, Evening Primrose contains one of the highest concentrations known of this important substance which is essential for cell structure and to improve the elasticity of the skin.


Fatty acids:

We use only vegetable and plant based fatty acids. Used as a natural emollient for the skin.


Geranium Essential Oil:

The essential oil of the geranium is known for its healing effects on the skin. It is used to soothe dry, irritated skin and even to help clear the complexions of those with naturally oily skin.


Guar Gum

Guar Gum is the extract of the guar bean. It is used in a variety of industries because of its thickening properties.


Ginkgo Biloba:

Ginkgo biloba is known for its great revitalizing, stimulating, and firming qualities. A powerful Antioxidant that has detoxifying qualities. Found to improve circulation by helping to increase healthy blood flow to skin. Known for its anti-aging properties that give a healthier, rosy, younger looking skin.


Glycerin:

An effective natural moisturizer at low concentrations; glycerin is a humectant, and at higher concentrations, it attracts moisture from the environment. Helps condition the skin.


Grape Seed Extract:

Grape seed extract is rich in flavonoids, phytochemicals that have antioxidant properties some consider even greater than vitamin C and vitamin E. Antioxidants are believed to prevent and control numerous ailments by safeguarding cells against the ravages of unstable oxygen molecules called free radicals. Studies have shown that PCOs in grape seed extract are as much as 50 times more potent than those in Vitamin E and up to 20 times more potent than PCOs in Vitamin C.


Grape Seed Oil:

Grape Seed Oil has an astringent property which tightens and tones the skin. It contains linoleic acid, an polyunsaturated fatty acid, which is an essential component of the cell membrane. It provides nourishment to the skin and aids in skin repair. It protects the skin from the sun, has antiseptic and moisturizing properties and is particularly effective for the skin around the eyes.


Grapefruit Oil:

It is considered a purifier of congested, oily and acne prone skin.


Green Tea Extract:

Numerous studies have shown tea polyphenols to have protective effects against free radicals, protection from skin cancer, reduces sun damage. Green tea appears to exert sun damage protection by quenching free radicals and reducing inflammation rather than by blocking UV rays. Topical green tea polyphenols are reported to slow down the development of aging in the skin.


Hyaluronic Acid:

Hyaluronic Acid is known as the most effective moisturizer ever discovered. Hyaluronic acid fills the space between collagen and elastic fibers and the cells. Helps to preserve the principal characteristics of young, healthy skin, such as smoothness, elasticity and tone.


Iron Oxide:

A naturally occurring compound of iron and oxygen. Used as a natural colorant.


Jojoba Seed Oil:

One of the most intriguing things about this oil is that it operates almost the same way human sebum (oil) does. Even more interesting, Jojoba oil has been shown to work well with acne prone skin. When applied to the skin, Jojoba oil balances sebum levels and also possesses anti-bacterial properties that prevent breakouts. Its ability to prevent moisture loss makes Jojoba oil ideal for use on dry skin, eczema and other problematic skin conditions.


Juniper Berry Essential Oil:

When used topically in a cream or lotion, juniper berry oil can be useful for oily skin and acne, as well as eczema, dermatitis, blocked pores, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin ailments.


Kojic Acid :

Derived from sugar mold. It is a tyrosinase inhibitor that helps slow the production of melanin. It lightens discoloration, inhibits UV caused irritation, and promotes healing.


Kukui Nut Oil:

Kukui Nut Carrier Oil is cold pressed from the fruits of Kukui Nut tree to retain high levels of natural polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is excellent for dry skin, psoriasis, eczema or any severe skin condition.


Kumquat Essential Oil:

Stimulates the microcirculation of the skin. It is effective for wrinkles and dull skin. Kumquat Oil is also a refreshing cleanser, purifier and a potent antiseptic agent.


Lactic Acid:

The human body produces, and utilizes, this gentle acid to maintain it's optimal pH balance in the defense of fungus and bacteria. When compared to Glycolic or Citric Acids, Lactic shows greatly reduced irritancy while offering pronounced efficacy in exfoliating and skin rejuvenating formulations.


Lavender Essential Oil:

Lavender oil contains antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and a bactericide properties. On the skin, lavender oil tones and revitalizes and it is useful for all types of skin problems such as acne, oily skin, sunburn and insect bites.


Lemon Extract:

Macadamia Nut Oil:

Macadamia Oil is a fantastic regenerative oil. It is high in mono-unsaturated fatty acids, contains palmitoleic acid (promotes young soft skin), as well as omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. It has been successfully used to help heal scars and sunburns and is considered very safe.


March Mallow :

It is used externally for localized irritations, boils, abscesses, burns, sores, skin ulcers and minor injuries. Marshmallow not only has good anti-inflammatory properties, but also seems to boost the immunity at cellular level.


Lactic acid:

One of the five most beneficial AHAs, it is naturally occurring in milk fermentation. A mild exfoliant that helps reduce wrinkles and improve the skin’s texture. Very softening and moisturizing.


Matrixyl 3000

This antioxidant is made by combining two peptides, palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapepide-7. It outperforms Vitamin C (and unlike some of the Cs, it doesn’t irritate) by stimulating the matrix molecules. According to clinical trials, matrixyl 3000 led to a 33% decrease in wrinkle density, a 23% decrease in the volume of wrinkles and a 20% decrease in the depth of wrinkles.


Meadowfoam Seed Oil:

Meadowfoam Oil contains 98% fatty acids long-chain carbon atoms. It is resistant to oxidation due to naturally occurring tocopherols, and is one of the most stable lipids known. This oil contains wonderful moisturizing and rejuvenating properties.


Octipeptide:

Is an elongation of Argirelene.


Palmarosa Essential Oil:

Palmarosa oil can help clear up infections and help prevent scarring. It contains a moisturizing and hydrating effect on the skin, which is great to fight wrinkles. It also balances the natural secretion of sebum, which keeps the skin supple and elastic.

On cellular level, it helps with the formation of new tissue and for that reason is great for rejuvenating and regenerating the skin. It is most useful for dry skin conditions.


Palmitoyl Tripeptide 7:

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 controls the body’s inflammatory response (as your own hormones did in younger days). The effect is to reverse sagging of skin caused by out-of-control inflammation (glycation damage) thereby restoring skin elasticity and lifting facial contours.

This amino peptide mimics the human body's own mechanism to produce collagen, which is needed to promote youthful looking skin. As a "by-product", palmitoyl tripeptide has been found to not only help with crepe paper (thin) skin and stretch marks, but also a clinically proven anti-wrinkle active treatment. This is a powerful skin firming ingredient that is excellent for the neck.


Panthenol:

Panthenol is a non-irriating form of Vitamin B that is usually derived from plants. When this natural, hydrating vitamin is applied externally, it penetrates into lower skin layers, gets absorbed into your skin cells and turns into pantothenic acid (commonly known as Vitamin B5). Because panthenol is absorbed deeply into the skin, it adds essential moisture and has a desirable plumping effect.


Pectin:

Assists the skin to quickly restore and maintain its acid protective barrier. Soothes skin after soap leansing, contains moisturizing effect on stratum corneum and protective action against water loss has been clinically demonstrated. Pectin is a polysaccharide extracted from citrus peel, a natural source.


Phenoxyethanol:

Derived from sage essential oil; is an effective food grade preservative.


Polyglucose:

Mild non-ionic surfactant composed of sugar (glucose) derived from corn starch and fatty alcohols (decanol) derived from coconuts, soluble in water.


Polysorbate 20:

Is a non-ionic surfactant that acts as a gentle, non irritating emulsifier.


Pomegranate Juice:

Advanced medical research found that pomegranate juice is full of antioxidants, vitamins C, E and A, calcium, iron, folic acid and potassium, all of which can help sustain skin cell regeneration. In addition, these nutrients extend the life of cells longer and aid in the skin's ability to heal faster.


Pomegranate Seed Oil:

An extremely rich and nutritious oil containing high levels of anti-oxidants that fight free radicals and skin aging, but the oil is also a potent source of punicic and ellagic acids. Because of these properties, pomegranate seed oil is used to heal, protect, and moisturize dry, cracked, mature and irritated skin.

Several recent studies, including one conducted by the University of Michigan Medical School (published in the February 2006 Journal of Ethnopharmacology), have shown that pomegranate seed oil stimulates keratinocyte proliferation, promoting regeneration and strengthening of the epidermis.


Potassium Sorbate:

Sorbic Acid occurs naturally as para-sorbic acid in berries of the mountain ash tree, Sorbus aucuparia, Rosaceae. It can also be synthesized by various processes. Sorbic Acid and Potassium Sorbate have a broad spectrum of fungistatic activity but are less active against bacteria.


Powdered Milk:

Contains natural lactic acid and is used as a mild exfoliant to help reduce wrinkles and soften skin.


Pumpkin:

Pumpkin is packed full of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, potassium, alpha-carotene, zinc, beta carotene, and lutein. Pumpkin nourishes the skin while providing cellular repair.


Pumpkin Seed Oil:

DPumpkin Seed Oil is rich in vitamins A, B, D & E; minerals, and proteins. It has over 60% of unsaturated fatty acids and is rich in omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Contains good moisturizing and lubricating properties and is especially good in combating fine lines and moisture loss.


Retinyl Palmitate:

Vitamin A palmitate (retinyl palmitate) is known to normalize skin. Retinyl palmitate accounts for about 80% of the vitamin A found in the skin. The advantages of using the milder forms of vitamin A on the skin are that they are converted into retinoic acid in the cells and effectively give similar results to those seen with retinoic acid. It will help to keep skin stay soft and plump. Clinical results have shown that vitamin A palmitate increases collagen, DNA, skin thickness, and elasticity.


Rice Bran Oil:

Rosehip Seed Oil is extremely high in essential fatty acids and is known to help treat dry, irritated, weathered skin. It is also suitable for treating burns, scars and stretch marks.


Rosemary Oil:

Rosemary Oil is best used as a facial oil for extremely dry skin. It nourishes and normalizes excessive oil secretions. Containes anti-oxidant, cleansing and anti-bacterial properties.


Safflower Oil:

Studies show safflower oil contains essential fatty acids like linoleic acid that can smooth, nourish and help damaged skin hold onto moisture better. Unlike some oils, it doesn't clog the pores or irritate follicles and hence is suitable even for acne prone skin.


Sage:

Known as a natural anti-oxidant with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It refreshes, balances and tones, and has a mild cleansing action making it ideal for sensitive skin.


Salicylic Acid:

Salicylic Acid, a Beta-Hydroxy Acid, is a highly effective superficial peeling agent, oil reducer and pore cleanser. Salicylic is one of the most effective ingredients to combat the cause of facial oil, acne and blemishes, as well as providing an excellent rejuvenation addition and alternative to Glycolic.


Sea Buckthorn:

It contains from 35 to 40 percent of a 16-carbon monounsaturated fatty acid known as omega-7. It believed to have a potent antiviral, antibacterial, and healing effect in humans. It is also similar to lipids naturally occurring in skin sebum, and is thought to provide important healing and anti-aging benefits for problem skin. Phospholipids are essential for all vital cell processes, and are the most important membrane building compounds that occur in human, animal and plant cells.


Seaweed Extract:

All seaweeds are rich in calcium, potassium, iodine, as well as fat, protein, carbohydrates and vitamins E, C, B12, B6, B3, B, A and Z as well as compounds, such as polygalactosides, fucose polymers and ursolic acid. Polygalactosides form a protective moisturizing complex, while the fucose polymers are hydrating agents. The ursolic acid helps form a protective barrier on the skin.


Shea Butter:

Used predominantly for skin care, Shea Butter is hailed for its protecting and emollient properties. It has high amounts of unsaponifiable matters, vitamin E and other natural active elements, and is a perfect natural moisturizing agent for the skin, particularly the face and hands. It penetrates deeply into the epidermis and is a natural "sun block".


Sodium Hyaluronate:

Hyaluronic Acid is known as the most effective moisturizer ever discovered. Hyaluronic acid fills the space between collagen and elastic fibers and the cells. It helps to preserve the principal characteristics of young, healthy skin, such as smoothness, elasticity and tone. Since it is an excellent water reservoir and an ideal lubricant, Hyaluronic acid leads to a perceptible and visible improvement in skin condition.


Sodium Lactate:

Sodium Lactate is the sodium salt of natural L(+)-Lactic Acid, produced through the fermentation of sugar, an AHA that occurs everywhere in nature and is a natural moisturizing factor (NMF) constituent of skin. Sodium Lactate is a superior moisturizer, increasing the moisture content of skin by up to 90%. Sodium Lactate is an edible material that has been used for decades in the meat-packing industry.


Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate:

Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate is derived from milk and coconut oil. Is traditionally used as a food emulsifier, although it is seen in cosmetics and personal care products because of its ability, as a lactylate, to penetrate skin easily, providing enhanced delivery of actives.


Sorbitol:

Derived from apples, cherries, berries, plums, pears, algae, and seaweed. Feels velvet smooth when applied on the skin. Used as a humectant, emulsifier and thickener in formulations.


Soy Peptides:

Improves skin texture, circulation and tone. Also helps to reduce darks circles.


Soy Protein:

Soy Protein is a vegetable sourced protein providing moisture retentive and protection to the skin. It increases the ability of the skin to bind moisture and helps to minimize roughness and chapping of skin caused by dry climates.


Shea butter:

Soybean Oil is extremely high in lecithin, sterolins, and vitamin E which makes it an effective moisturizing agent.


Squalane (vegetable):

Squalane is an extremely potent antioxidant, superior to vitamins A and E, Q10, Lycopene and other corotenoids. It re-circulates toxic free radicals back to normal oxygen thus helping to better utilize the oxygen in the skin and other tissues. Because Squalane oil is so fine it is absorbed deep into the skin leaving no oily film-with amazing quickness. This smooth, deep penetration assists in boosting cell regeneration, helps prevent formation of “age spots”, provides antibacterial Properties, helps retain moisture levels and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It can be used under make-up for a flawless application and as a base to maximize the effects of moisturizers.

Our Stearic Acid is 100% Palm derived, with no added chemicals, emulsifiers or other agents.


Sugar Cane Extract:

The juicy pulp of the sugar cane plant is a natural alpha hydroxy acid which works to increase collagen and elastin synthesis and also boost protein regeneration in the skin.


Sugar Maple Extract:

An extract of the sugar maple plant - Effective in increasing the epidermal thickness of the skin.


Sunflower Seed Oil:

Sunflower Carrier Oil has high amounts of Vitamins A, B, D and E, minerals, lecithin, insulin, unsaturated fatty acids, and is a highly nourishing oil for the skin.


Tapioca Powder:

Extracted from Tapioca, it looks like a white powder. In virtue of its highly absorbing property, it is largely used in the cosmetic field as a substitute of talc. Due to its velvety touch, it gives powders softness and smoothness. After its application, the skin will be smooth and soft.


Tea Tree Essential Oil:

Tea Tree Oil (also known as Melaleuca) is a natural antibacterial disinfectant that was commonly used as a general antiseptic by the aborigine tribes for thousands of years. More recently, the scientific community has confirmed that Tea Tree Oil has tremendous medicinal benefits. Tea Tree Oil has wonderful properties that makes it a popular natural agent for curing all three types of infectious organisms: fungus, bacteria, and virus. More importantly, it is known to effectively fight a number of infections that are resistant to some antibiotics. Therefore, Tea Tree Oil is an excellent natural remedy for hundreds of bacterial and fungal skin ailments such as acne, abscess, oily skin, blisters, sun burns, athlete's foot, warts, herpes, insect bites, rashes, dandruff and other minor wounds and irritations.


Titanium Dioxide:

This is an ingredient that is often found in cosmetics. a full-spectrum sunscreen, which means that it protects the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. It is also used to give opacity to face powder, eye shadow, and foundation. Due to recent research findings regarding the impact of nanoparticles in titanioum dioxide and zinc oxide, Be Natural Orgnaics does NOT use nanoparticles in either titanium dioxide or zinc oxide formulations.

Vitamin E is a vital ingredient for soft, supple skin. It has been shown to play an important role in protecting skin from environmental and oxidative damage and is often called the "protection vitamin" of the skin. It shows anti-inflammatory properties and positively influences skin moisture properties and wound healing. Vitamin E prevents the skin from premature aging induced by UV irradiation and lipid peroxidation.


Tripeptide 5:

Peptide that penetrates deep into the skin and helps to stimulate collagen formation in the skin.


Vegetable Glycerin:

A humectant (water-attracting/binding ingredient), emulsifier, and emollient naturally produced from a combination of vegetable fat and water.


Vitamin A:

A powerful free-radical scavenger used as an anti-aging and healing ingredient. Topically applied vitamin A is one of only three vitamins able to be absorbed by the skin. The other two are vitamins D & E.


Vitamin C:

See Ascorbic Acid.


Vitamin D:

Necessary for the re-production of new skin cells, and when the skin is exposed to ultraviolet light, it is the only vitamin that the body is able to manufacture.

Witch Hazel:

Witch hazel contains high levels of tannin, which is an natural astringent. There is no doubt that witch hazel is an effective natural pharmaceutical. It is one of the few natural remedies to have obtained US FDA approval for sale specifically for medicinal use.


Willow Bark:

Rich in phenolic compounds and salicin (glycodise of salicyl alcohol). Its constituents are salicylic glycosides and tannins, which contribute to its analgesic properties. A natural form of salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid widely used as an exfoliant and to keep pores clean of debris.


Xanthan Gum:

Xanthan gum is considered a polysaccharide because it is a long chain of three different forms of sugar present in corn sugar. It is used in dairy products as a thickening agent and stabilizer. Another use for xanthan gum is the stabilization of cosmetic products.


Ylang Ylang Essential Oil:

Ylang Ylang oil offers numerous health benefits, which explains the reason why it is so popular. It has a fabulous stimulating effect on the skin. Ylang Ylang oil helps to correct the production of sebum in the skin and helps treat minor skin irritations.


Zinc Oxide:

A natural, mineral derived “skin protecting” sunscreen agent; antiseptic, astringent, and soothing. Offers broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

Note: Due to recent research findings regarding the possibility of nanoparticles in titanioum dioxide and zinc oxide being absorbed through the skin and into the blood stream, Be Natural Organics chooses NOT to use nanoparticles in either mineral in our formulations.
