This high-performing exfoliant lifts away dead surface skin while delivering nutrients to the fresh layers of skin underneath. Mother of Pearl Facial Scrub is a foaming microdermabrasion treatment that utilizes natural physical exfoliating properties as opposed to chemical exfoliants. This organic skincare product combines premium quality freshwater pearl powder with silica-rich bamboo in an organic aloe vera juice base that contains a high level of amino acids. It also features natural kaolin (gentle, non-drying) and rhassoul (natural skin detoxifying) clays that absorb and carry away your skin’s debris. Use it up to twice a week to revitalize your skin’s appearance.

Pearl Powder – Used for centuries in traditional Chinese beauty rituals – finely ground pearl powder gently and effectively buffs away the dull dead top layer of skin. During exfoliating – it simultaneously nourishes the skin with essential amino acids – vitamins and minerals making skin look radiant.

Bamboo Powder – Is an exceptionally rich source of silica – a mineral that is essential for healthier looking skin – hair – and nails. This finely ground silica rich exfoliating powder helps to keep skin looking and feeling supple.

Kaolin Clay – Because of its absorbent properties – kaolin clay acts as a natural detoxifier for the skin. It can cleanse and refine all skin types but is especially beneficial for oily – congested skin because it can draw dirt and debris out of pores.

Sweet Almond Oil – An excellent emollient known for its ability to soften and condition the skin. It is cold pressed from its source in order to preserve all of its nutrients such as proteins – linoleic acid and vitamin D. Its nourishing and hydrating benefits can be noticed immediately as it gives skin a natural glow.

Aloe barbadensis (Aloe vera) leaf juice – bambusa vulgaris (bamboo) powder – cetearyl alcohol – glycerin – prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil – decyl glycoside – pumice – kaolin – cetearyl alcohol (and) coco glucoside – leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate – moroccan lava clay – gluconolactone – pearl powder – sclerotium gum – xanthan gum – sodium benzoate – tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Apply small amount of scrub in palm – adding water while working up a lather. Cleanse face and neck area in a circular motion – rinse well. May be used up twice per week.

    I really like this Mother of Pearl Facial Scrub. The only reason I give it 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the grains (from the bamboo powder?)are somewhat irritating on my skin. Without that, this would be an awesome cleansing mask for me! Otherwise, GREAT ingredients! The texture is very nice and velvety, too.

    I use this once a week, its gentle if you are gentle with your scrubbing, my face feels soft and clean! I wouldnt use this more than once a week because the pearl particles can be a bit rough.

    I have just started using this scrub but find that it works great. It has a lot of exfoliants in it, unlike some scrubs. it leaves skin soft. its pricey for a small bottle but you only need a little to wash your face and neck.
